Charlotte Josefus
After she had completed her studies (humanities), she first engaged in adult education. Soon she founded a charitable tour operator for youth travels before she took up a responsible position at “Wikinger Reisen” where she stayed for 7 years. Afterwards, she assumed the management of the French tour operator Frantour FTS for 5 years. Since 1996 she is the executive shareholder of “Wikinger Individuell”. 2004 she decided to establish “Germantrails” to show the beauty of german landscapes to walkers from other countries. |

Juliane Brügemann
After having passed the A-levels, she studied tourism management in Berlin. After some periods of practical training at the tourist board of Schwielowsee and the German National Tourist Office (GNTO) in Zurich, she gained experiences abroad working for an incoming tour operator in London. In May 2004, she joined the team of “Wikinger Individuell” as a trainee in the field of product management. As product manager she is now responsible for the development of new hiking- and biking tours as well as for the necessary updating of the already existing tours. |

Heike Empting
After having passed the A-levels, she was apprenticed to a travel agency where she afterwards worked for several years. She later took up positions at two other travel agencies and due to all the experience she gained there, she became team manager of a Thomas Cook travel agency which was taken over by American Express in 1995. As manager of the American Express travel agency in Hagen she took on the regional management of the Rhein-Ruhr area as well as the management of all the onsites of American Express in Germany. In 2003, she decided to join the team of “Wikinger Individuell” as head of the reservation team. |

Marcus Jakubassa
After having passed the A-levels, he started to study economics, but soon he discovered his special interest in tourism. During his apprenticeship at the “Wikinger Reisen GmbH” he passed through all the different departments. He found out that he had a special tendency towards working out the cheapest scheduled flights. After having accomplished successfussy his apprenticeship, he joined the team of “Wikinger Individuell” in January 2002 where he’s now a senior consultant. |

Inga Sund
After having passed the A-levels, she was originally apprenticed in architectural draughts. After she had travelled to the USA, to Mexico and within the region of the Alps, she was attracted by the world of travelling. She then decided to work for the Cologne tourist board and shortly after joined “Wikinger Indiviudell” where she completed successfully her apprenticeship in 2004. As member of the team of “Wikinger Individuell” she is in charge of the destinations in Germany and in the region of the Alps. |

Birgit Kowalski
She has been working for “Wikinger Reisen” for more than 25 years which is a unique feature since nobody else has been working for the company for such a long time. After she was apprenticed in commerce, she got a job at the “Wikinger Reisen GmbH” and kept on doing so until today. From the beginning, she has always been in charge of tailor-made special group travels, f.i. for walking clubs. When “Wikinger Individuell” was founded in 1996, she joined the team of which she is still a member today. |

Mareike Lammert
After she had been to Dallas/ Texas as an exchange student, she decided to start a career in the field of tourism. As an apprentice she joined the team of “Wikinger Individuell” in 2004. Now, she takes care of the the biking programmes to Poland and Belgium and of the hiking programmes to Norway and Ireland, but passes as well through all other departments such as flights, accounts, marketing, etc. |
