"Wikinger Individuell" was the first touroperator in Germany which offered a wide range of selfguided walking tours to germans with destinations all over Europe. This concept was very successful and the company could grow every year considerably.

"Wikinger Individuell" always offered some of the most attractive walking trails in Germany but formerly only to german customers. Soon also people from Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg took advantage of the well prepared selfguided tours in Germany which "Wikinger individuell" offered. From time to time people from UK and overseas booked some of the german tours but this was only possible if they spoke fluently german as all travel documents such as the road book was written only in german. Also dutch people travel a lot to Germany and for many of them walking is the preferred acitivity. That’s how the idea was born to make it possible for english and for dutch speaking people as well to explore some of the finest walking trails in Germany.
